Great Wall Motors will unveil plenty of new models at the forthcoming Auto Shanghai Show.
Following the theme 10+1 there will be ten new cars and a self-developed engine.
The company is on the way to have a capacity of 200,000 vehicles a year and the company would like the show the “strength of independent innovation”. — China Brilliance's new FRV debut.
Wingle
The Wingle pickup truck went into production last December. At Shanghai a new version with common-rail diesel engine will be shown.
i7
The new i7 is a five-seater family car which will be equipped with either 1.3 or 1.5-liter four-cylinder EUR4 petrol engines. The car features independent McPherson suspension at the front and torsion beam at the rear. Front airbags, ABS and EBD will also be standard equipment
Mini-SUV
Based on the GWPeri, which was unveiled at the Beijing Autoshow last year, this is Great Wall’s first min-SUV. — Buick Riviera world premiere.
Cowry MPV
Jiaju (Cowry) is the first MPV from Great Wall. It is powered by a 2.0-liter VVT engine. It is a five-door, seven-seater model.
Gwperi
Originally shown at the Beijing Autoshow last year this new minicar will be aimed at young, 20-40-year-old people. — 2005 Geneva International Motor Show.
Florid
Production version of last year’s concept car with the same name there will be 1.3-liter petrol and 1.2-liter diesel engines offered.
Coolbear
Another concept turned to production model.
