- Lada (Russia): assembly of Niva was halted in Uruguay; assembly of 110-series commenced in Ukraine by LuAZ.
- Izh (Russia), which started assembly of the Kia Spectra on 22 August, 2005.
- Kia (China), where assembly of the Cerato commenced in August, 2005.
- Elfin (Australia), where the striking MS8 Clubman and Streamliner roadsters are now being made in small quantity.
- Mitsubishi (Indonesia) - the company started sales of the Suzuki APV on an OEM basis, named as Maven.
- Dodge (USA), production of the Neon was discontinued in September, 2005.
